Job description
ABOUT OUR REVENUE TEAM
Our Revenue team has two sub-teams:
New Business Sales - They bring Albert to new school customers and find opportunities for customer expansions. They are measured by how much new business they win in a year.
Account Management (renewal sales) - They work with school administrators to renew customer contracts, plan implementations, and conduct data-driven check-ins. They are measured by annual customer retention.
These sub-teams work closely together to provide an exceptional experience for school and district partners.
THE ROLE
As a District Ambassador, your primary responsibility will be leveraging your existing network of school and district administrators to generate leads for our inside sales team. This is a part-time contractor role designed for retired school and district administrators (such as principals, superintendents, directors of curriculum and instruction, etc.) who have strong connections within the K-12 education space. You will introduce Albert’s practice and assessment platform to school and district decision-makers, helping them discover how our solution can improve student outcomes. You will not be expected to work any specific set of hours and will be compensated for results.
You can expect to do things like:
● Identify and connect with school and district leaders in your network who would benefit from Albert.
● Pitch the value of Albert to engage potential prospects.
● Make warm introductions between prospective school and district clients and our inside sales team.
● Check in with our VP of Revenue every two weeks.
COMPENSATION
● 40% commission on the initial deal value that results from introductions you make, up to 24 months (ie, for a 5 year deal, only the deal value for the first two years will be commission eligible). There will be no commission on renewal deal revenue.
● A monthly stipend of $200 per month.
